We're having a fantastic time!

Group 101 are enjoying a fabulous pilgrimage in Lourdes. We've had sunshine, laughter, singing and all of the children are having a wonderful time.

To those waiting at home, we'll see you on Sunday. In the meantime, here are a few photographs from our time in Lourdes so far. Lots more photos and videos will be on the website when we return.

Five useful phrases whilst in Lourdes

If you are a new helper in Lourdes with HCPT this year, here are five useful phrases that will help you to get through the week:

Do you know where I can buy a candle?
Savez-vous où je peux acheter une bougie?

Can I have more garlic on my vegetables please?
Puis-je avoir plus d'ail sur mes légumes s'il vous plaît?

Driver, I’m not sure you’ll get the coach through that gap.
Monsieur, je ne suis pas sûr le car passent à travers cette lacune.

Do you have any water pistols for sale?
Avez-vous des pistolets à eau à vendre?

This final one is in Italian:
Please stop kicking me. This is supposed to be a place of Christian pilgrimage.
Si prega di smettere di darmi i calci. Questo dovrebbe essere un luogo di pellegrinaggio cristiano.
